• In this Holy Parish Church of the town of San Miguel de Horcasitas, on the seventh day of the month of November in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty-seven, I, Brother Manuel del Jesús Márquez, vicar and ecclesiastical judge of this district, solemnly baptized a child five days old, whom I named José Hilario Franco Antonio, legitimate son of the citizens Ramón Sierra and María Juana Castillo, residents of this parish. The godparents were the citizens Santiago Landavazo and María Manuela Arvizu, also residents of this same place. I reminded them of the spiritual kinship and obligations they assumed. To certify, I sign on the aforementioned day, month, and year.
