  January 18, 1917 - In this cemetery of the Church of San Luis Rey, today the ecclesiastical burial was given to the body of Lusia Sierras, who passed away in Oceanside on the 16th of January 1917 from paralysis. She was eighty-five years old and received the last sacraments.
